Being a working mother always wondered me if I have done enough to educate my son. Since he was born, I continue talking to him by using simple phrases over and over again. Inspired by a friend, I’m started looking for the educational materials for my son. Currently, his favorite illustration book is My First Words, Let’s get talking; by DK (searchable at www.dk.com) which contained life pictures of babies with different gestures, type of clothes, pets and wild animals, transportation, toys, numbering, color etc.
He loved to read and always participating me in his learning process. He always carried his book and followed me wherever I’ve goes and disturbed whatever I have being doing, just because he want me to read the book for him. He doesn’t prefer his farther to read for him, since I always make some sounds when reading his book. Like how the fire engine or airplane sounds, how the cats purrs and miaows or how the lions roar. Now, he is able to recognize a flying birds, dogs, cats even a moving bus. I am really inspired how he learned new things by watching, exploring and studding his surrounding. While he’s getting new experience and knowledge, I also learned how to become a good mother and wife.
